For the first time, under the guidance of the Guernsey Rugby Development Officer, Steve Melbourne the Academy is to run its own Summer Rugby Camp from 17-21 August.

Age groups split into morning and afternoon sessions:

Tots: 9 - 10am
U7-U11’s: 9am - 12pm
U12-Colts: 1- 4pm

Training will take place from Monday to Thursday with the Friday being game day with Festivals for the Minis and inter age group games for the older age groups at The Garenne Stand.

This will be as a lead up to the Guernsey v Cornish Pirates Game.

During the week there will be a Beach Rugby Day (tide times permitting).

Cost:
1st child £50
2nd child £40
3rd child £30
Tots £20

This cost includes: T-shirt, rugby ball, cap or water bottle and BBQ on the Friday.

For the afternoon groups nutrition, strength and conditioning and athletics training will also be covered.

The camp is open to all children, not just Academy members.
