IT MAY be billed as a friendly but Jordan Reynolds said his team will be playing with 'full noise'

IT MAY be billed as a friendly but Jordan Reynolds said his team will be playing with 'full noise' in tomorrow night's prestige clash with Championship side Cornish Pirates.
The head coach said he is not giving thought to picking up new injuries so close to the start of the league campaign, despite the physical challenge the Pirates will provide and the knowledge he has already lost two first choices in Cameron Craine and new signing Owen Thomas before a competitive match is played.
In naming 23 for the 7pm kick off at Footes Lane, the coach says the emphasis will be getting his first choice as much pitch time as possible.
'We will be playing it like a normal contest and we have got to use the game about conditioning.
'A lot of the guys have yet to play 80 minutes.'
With that in mind, the coach is not going to make unnecessary changes.
'We are going to give it everything we have. We are going to give it full noise.'
Nick Merrien has a slight hamstring strain and will not be risked, while everyone is keeping fingers crossed that Owen Thomas' knee injury is not too severe.
The talented Welshman will definitely be out for the near future, though.
'We are trying to be positive about it and hoping it is a meniscus issue,' said Reynolds.
With Craine unavailable the Pirates scrum coach Alan Paver will wear the No. 1 shirt in the following starting XV:
Paver, Ceillam, L. Batiste, Hillier, Martin, Rice, Le Cocq, Thomas, Barnes, Walters, Challinor, Campbell, Brown, Davison, Sayer.
Replacements: Miller, Choules, Brayah, Finch, Nixon, Elliott and the Armstrong brothers, Matt and Anthony.
