FROM 19-14 up early in the second half at Chichester the 1sts crumbled in the final third of the game to concede 40 points and be soundly thrashed 54-19 to lose their second game on their travels in National Three London & SE.

With the Guernsey pack dominant they three times led, the first try coming from Dale Rutledge and the second a penalty try.

Back in Guernsey, the club welcomed Cherbourg to Footes Lane and there was a good win for the local Veterans.

The Colts match was brought to a premature end with the game in the balance.
