1sts away to CS Rugby, Ladies at home to Trojans Sunday KO 11am, Colts at Bognor, U16s in Portsmouth and U14s in Eastbourne.

The return of Robin Le Cocq is the big news ahead of the 1st XV’s vital away clash at fellow strugglers CS Rugby 1862 this weekend.

The highly influential back-rower is fit again after damaging his foot on the farm and his recovery is a big lift for both coach and side for a must-win clash.

Jordan Reynolds says the time has come to start winning, otherwise the little ‘r’ becomes a big ‘R’ in relegation threat terms.

The fact that we sit bottom of National Three London & SE has much to do with a cruel run of injuries, but in the cold light of day the league table does not possess a column for bad luck. The important figure falls under the header: Points.

‘It’s a pretty important game for us this week,’ said the coach.

‘The middle pack is starting to get away from us and there has been a big emphasis this week on getting this win.’

Reynolds clearly did not think much of last week’s performance in losing to London Irish Wild Geese, other than the spirit shown and the avoidance of being sucked into the opposition’s physicality.

He makes a number of positional changes this weekend which, hopefully, will kick start the club’s season.

Sam Whitehead is moved again from full-back into the backs and will play fly-half with Blair Campbell continuing as emergency scrum half.

Glen Walters drops into the No. 15 role while Ned Brown moves in from the wing to partner Matt Hema in the centres.

Jason Batiste is unavailable due to work.

It’s definitely a XV closely resembling what Reynolds envisaged fielding back in the summer and, he insists, one that is stronger than the side that this time last year started flying up the table and only just missed out on promotion.

‘We’re a lot stronger than last year, that’s for sure,’ he said.

‘We are probably not as strong mentally - mainly because we’ve had a bad patch.

‘I think it’s motivation though rather than confidence.’

CS Rugby are three places above Guernsey but lost last week to Tring who moved above Guernsey in the table with that win.

Good luck to all the sides!
