The Guernsey Ladies are spoilt for choices as they prepare to welcome Witney Ladies to the Garenne Stand on Sunday.
A trip to Witney in September saw Steve Evans’ side come away with a good 53-0 win and although Witney have had a difficult season so far, they are certainly not a team to be taken lightly.
The Guernsey side have a familiar look to the 22 with newbie player Laura Sweeney making the No 3 shirt her own and scrum half Lucy Pratt playing her last game as an U18.
After a good win against a strong Windsor Ladies team two weeks ago that moved the Ladies into third place in the table only four points behind leaders London Welsh, the GLR coaching team are looking to gain maximum points this week to keep on target to hit one of their season goals, which is finishing in the top three.
Captain Ellie Whittles will lead a formidable team that sees former Premiership player Daisy Anna Travers starting at No. 8 with centre partners Vicki Rang and Hannah Guilbert forming part of an exciting back line.
Kick Off Sunday is at 1pm at Footes Lane.
