Despite a host of injuries and adsences Guersney heroically won at Basingstoke 14-10
Despite a host of injuries and absences Guernsey heroically won at Basingstoke in National Three London & South-East on Saturday 14-10.
The visitors led 14-0 at halftime thanks to tries from Nick Merrien and Matt Ball, both of which were converted by Sam Whitehead.
In the second half it was a 'backs-to-the-wall' effort as Basingstoke, with the wind, came back strong and scored two tries.
Neither was converted though and Guernsey held on to the win.
