Bonus-point victory for the home team at Footes Lane

Guernsey finally overcame their Westcombe Park Hoodoo on Saturday.
In their three previous meetings, the green and whites had never scored a try against their bogey side, let alone beaten them, so it was no wonder that Jordan Reynolds wore a smile of safisfaction at the end of this victory.
'That was playing on my mind' said Guernsey's head coach, who spent the week devising ways to change their fortunes against these particular opponents.
In the second minue they werer awarded a penalty for a high tackle close to the Westcombe line and from the resulting 5m lineout, a trademark catch and drive produced the now customary try for a burrowing Tom Ceillam.
The second try came on 10 min at the end of a lengthy period of pressure as Guernsey camped inside the opposition's 22 before James Regnard joined the line and crashed over to score, with Sam Whitehead adding the conversion on theis occasion.
In these opening exchanges Guernsey, boosted by the return of Cameron Craine, were dominating the scrum and stealing lineouts too and it was only a matter of time before the third try arrived.
It came from their own lineout on the right touchline, with the ball moved swiftly down the backline before Jason Batiste broke through a tackle to create the overlap and he offloaded to Whitehead who happily sprinted untouched to the line.
Westoombe finally got a foothold in the match in the second quarter and after initially being repelled by some outstanding Guernsey defence on their own line, the visitors forced a turnover inside the hosts' 22 and a neat dummy saw flanker Graham Purdy cut through to reduce the deficit to 17-5 at half time.
Shortly after the interval Lewis Hillier was sent to the sinbin for an infringement at a lineout and during the time Guernsey were down to 14 Westcombe closed the gap further with their second try.
It was well created with some slick passing down the line all the way to right wing Trent Nattras who finished expertly in the corner.
Guernsey were seemingly under pressure with Westcombe's rush defence asking questions of the home side's handling, but when Hillier returned to the field he brought with him reinforcements in the form of Ben McDougall.
The powerful Kiwi centre replaced Batiste, who had put in a fine shift, and the substitute made a tremendous impact over the final 25 minutes.
McDougall continually punched holes through the Westcombe defensive line with his strong carries at pace, regularly getting over the gain-line and putting his side on the front foot, demoralising the tiring opposition.
His teammates backed him up with renewed effort in the final quarter and they reaped their rewards with a bonus point fourth try scored by Craine after captain Blair Campbell had forced his way up to the line and Dale Rutledge's initial follow up was halted just short
With time running down Whitehead added a penalty from a central position 30m out to edge Guernsey more than two converted tries ahead and in the dying seconds Hillier came close to a fifth try only to lose the ball forward as he was stretching towards the line.
It did not matter though.
