MORE than 50 of the club’s finest are in action over a busy two days this weekend.

While Jordan Reynolds’ Raiders face put their unbeaten run on the line against the mighty G-Force from East Grinstead, the Ladies hope to continue their climb up the table at home to New Ash Green at KGV on Sunday and, over at St Peter in Jersey, the club’s best prospects, plus some of the best of the ‘oldies’ are in the Guernsey representative side in the Investec Inter-Insular.

Reynolds is giving little away in terms of his selection for a mightily tough game, although he has named 18. It’s a strong squad although Raiders will be without Tom Ceillam for the next three or four weeks as the hooker is recovering from an elbow operation, and the infleuntial Robin Le Cocq remains sidelined.

East Grinstead have lost just one of their last nine games, that being a narrow away defeat at fellow promotion chasers Westcombe Park, and earlier this season they beat Raiders 18-10 at their place, 'We will be the underdogs, but we enjoy playing as underdogs and we are at home,’ said our coach. 'We have spent two weeks preparing for this and had a really good week in training last week,' he said.

Reynolds says the home crowd have a big part to play, 'Our crowd has really been supporting us well,' he said. 'I feel we have only played to our maximum potential against Hertford and Westcombe so far this season and when we got those victories at home, a big aspect was the last 15-20 minutes when the crowd was really buzzing.’

The game kicks off at 1.30pm.

Guernsey squad:
Thomas Malagodi, Matt Thomas, Cameron Craine, Layton Batiste, Nico Ashplant, Lewis Hillier, Nick Merrien, Dale Martin, Malcolm Barnes, Eamon Chapman, Luke Sayer, Sam Whitehead, Dave Davison, Ned Brown, Blair Campbell, Glen Walters, Owen Thomas and Adam Nixon.
