Our Ladies head to Worthing on Sunday when another win will clinch the runner-up spot behind champions in NC South East South One, Tonbridge Juddian.

After the bad start to the season, to finish second or third is a marvellous effort by the girls. That is recognised by coach Chris Griffiths:‘It has been a fantastic run of form, as shown by the amount of tries we have been able to put on teams and is no more than the team deserves for all of their efforts in the gym, at training and in the games themselves; real commitment leading to real rewards,’ he said.
‘Worthing robbed us of a win at home in the first game of the season by scoring in overtime so it would be great to beat them at their place and finish the season on a real high.'

‘They will of course be a very different proposition to Lewes or Beccehamians and we are expecting a tough fight to the finish, but we are most definitely up for the fight.'

‘We have the squad to do it, of that there can be no doubt and with many players in real form at the moment I fully believe we can go there and get the job done, which would be a remarkable achievement.'

‘If we win the game on Sunday we will finish second in the league. This would surpass all of our expectations and certainly fulfil our goal of finishing in the top three.'
