STRONG SQUAD NAMED FOR BRIGHTON TRIP
The injuries are starting to pile up and the shortage of backs is becoming acute, but Raiders are still able to name a very strong 18 man squad for the game at Brighton tomorrow, in what is expected to be a very wet affair.
Tom Teasdale joined the ranks of the unavailable this week when the talented youngster tore a hamstring in training. It will kept him out for six weeks.
‘That makes us nine backs to the wind,’ said Reynolds.
But with Matt Creber back from Exeter University for the holiday period, is available to bolster the forward alternatives off the bench.
Reynolds has chosen to pull Joe Andresen back into fly half and move Owen Thomas into the centres to replace Teasdale.
Mike Agyei-King gets a start on one wing.
Kick off is schedule for 2pm.
Travelling squad is:
Steventon, Ceillam, Batiste, Hillier (c), Webb, Le Cocq, Rice, Raymond; O’Connor, Andresen, Agyei-King, Thomas, M. Armstrong, A. Armstrong, Sayer.
Replacements: Craine, Merrien and Creber.
