THERE will be an added attraction to the potential of seeing the Raiders returning to winning form at Footes Lane on Saturday.

If you come along to the Garenne Stand the RBS Six Nations Trophy will be there in all its silvery glory and, out on the pitch, we can all hope for a glitzy performance. The odds on that happening are looking good.

Amersham & Chiltern lie bottom of the table and Raiders can welcome back a string of backs, including an old-face on the wing. Yes, Shane Taylor is back and he goes straight into the starting XV, while there is a welcome return for Luke Sayer.

The speedy Taylor has had a lengthy spell away from the game following various injury problems, while Sayer has not played since injuring his shoulder in first half of the Hertford match a month ago.

All this has the culminating effect of allowing the coach to field one of last week’s wing duo - Dale Martin, who even scored a try, back in his favoured position of the back row.
It means Dan Hill will start on a strong bench along with Cameron Craine and Adam Nixon while Jason Batiste returns at centre to partner Luke Jones in midfield.

Tomorrow’s game kicks off at 2.30pm.

Team:
Steventon, Ceillam, Batiste, Hillier (capt), Merrien, Martin, Mercadal, M. Thomas; Barnes, Davies, J. Batiste, Jones, Taylor, Sayer, Hellier.

Subs:
Craine, Nixon, Hill.
